Regina lost her foot in a lawn mower accident last year and now has a prosthetic foot. It didn't seem to set her back during her Aikido class this afternoon. She was an amazing little girl as you can see. She even throws fully grown men into the air!!

On my semi-long drive back to Gastonia from Lincolnton, I couldn't help but think how happy I was to have met her. It's been a pretty horrible day today but thinking of her reminds me that tomorrow always holds a chance for a better one.

	rawkondude2k [deleted] says: LOL...im all for martial arts being taught to kids at a young age, with the obesity problem in young children, not to mention all the self esteem some children lack ...getting to do karate or something like boxing provides an outlet for their -ve energy, i wish i had taken up karate as a young boy oh well.
