Absolutely wonderful capture! I love how the
tree frames the image. The tones are
excellent for the image. The only thing I
notices was the true white highlight is the
man's collar when I think it should be the
faces of the people. Could also slightly
lighten the woman’s arm to make the embrace
more noticeable. Both changes might enhance
the communication of the obvious passion
between the two people. Also, it suggests to
me a title "Mid-Day Paris Rendezvous” as
they look like to business professionals
(possibly married but not to each other!)
meeting for a lunchtime tryst. I like how
there lips are partially hidden - seems to
communicate their desire to hide their
relationship. Very well done.
Thanks to all for your kinds comments! David --> I'll try to improve but it's
hard for me to criticise people who know the
photography better than me...
--> Maurice: a real french one believe
me.... --> M e l o d y: thank you again but i'm
just a lucky newbie --> emiguez65, Naomi, emiguez65, jenriks,
-juliane-, Ramingo: thank you very much And a great thanks to people adding it as a
favorite!
Celle là m'avait échappée, gluuurp!!! Je dois vieillir ou etre très fatigué,
magnifique travail Cedrick. Avec ce genre d'image, tu te fais et tu nous
fais plaisir
Seeing this photograph brings so many
memories to my mind as to why I love Paris. I
love its cafes with their animated air of
conversation no what time of day, I love
watching the women whose instinct for color
and line showed in the last detail of the way
they dress, I love the tall windows that one
can throw open to the scent of flowers
blooming to the view of courtyards to the
narrow streets of the left bank and the grand
boulevards of the right. I love seeing people
strolling along the Seine holding hands. I
love feeling that where I walked so many
people had been before.

This is an amazing capture. I like how the trunk and branches serve as a frame for a couple that appears to be truly in love.
The black/white is perfect for this shot.
