awesome composition, the background of the
halfpipe against the foreground texture
really makes the snowboarder fly, beautiful
colors and spacing/cropping, too
Another superb shot dm - I'm never going to
get near to capturing anything as superb as
this but one question - how did you get
everything in focus ? The DOF is huge here.
Oh, and another question - why is it cool for
snowboarders to have the arse of their pants
round their knees ? We call that builders
bum over here and, in the snow, I'd have thot
it would add to some frostbite worries !
You can see all thet texture in the snow and
the lines from the tpeople turning into the
lip of the halfpipe. Theres also the blue
lines on the other side
thanks snow surfers! i figured out how to
take rapid fire shots just before taking
this, thanks to the hot shot next to me whose
camera sounded more like a machine gun.
I dont' even know how to tell you how awsome
I think this shot is - I was a racer for a
long time - I've seen a lot of picts of
people doing this sort of stuff in the snow -
but this is phenominal! the light and action
- the sharpness of the snow and the detail in
the background - I'm totally blown away!
