Thnaks Brandon - I'm pleased with the light and textures of this shot too, as well as the light on the frozen river. It's a noon shot - taken at 12:13 local time (my camera is set for GMT). Oulu is at 65 Degrees north, or thereabouts, just a degree south of the Artic Circle.

I guess somewhere like Fairbanks in Alaska is on the same Latitude in your part of the world.
