Detail of a wrinkly en fourreau back and covered buttons w/ drawstrings. Later I'll be taking apart and resewing the center back panels to eliminate the wrinkling.

    Hi ,
    the link wouldnt work on my computer for some reason ,(,its suffering cat damage at the moment so it may be the keys playing up)but I love that site and I did check ,,it is the pale blue dress on the sites listings for Marie Antionette ,,the movie version ,,its one of my favourite dresses in the movie ,,,,

    I was trying to add a note to this photo when I saw yours over the button. My thoughts exactly. Isn't it funny that even on such a wonderful, spectacular thing as this dress, the most wonderful thing are those two buttons!?!

    Very! :) Dresses on their own are very nice and all, but it's the little things... the covered buttons, the choice of trim, the way stripes align on a gown, etc.... I don't know, they're what really catches my eye. :P
