Princess
My Oxalis Princess Lillies have been teasing me for days, and today they have finally bloomed. Just divine.
Its a grey and miserable sort of day... My uncles first birthday after his death. Yukky day.

All clear
Got the all clear finally today. I can wait a few months before deciding on a permanent treatment. But for now, its plain sailing.... Hope you are well. Thank you for all your kind and supportive comments recently. Apologies for my absense, as always. Emelia is crawling now, so i really have no time to think anymore!

Darling Dahlia
I started my Dahlia collection on the weekend :)
Thank you all so much for your kind and supportive words, friends. It means a lot.
Still no results from the biopsy so I am going to try and assume that means its not Cancer! I will still need either a thyroidectomy or more radioiodine, but I have to decide which is best for me and my young family!
Anyway, thank you again.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder... i hope?
Hi flickr pals,
just thought I might fill you in on the reason for my absence.
When I was 13 I was diagnosed with Graves disease, and after years of treatment, I finally had radio active iodine treatment in 1999 and 2000. my thyroid was essentially fried, and has been pretty much non-functioning ever since. Then a few weeks ago, at a routine check, it was discovered that there was some new activity. Further testing showed there are several lumps on my thyroid. A week ago, i had a rather painful biopsy on two of the lumps and I am still waiting for the diagnosis. There are a few things it could be, one of which, being Cancer.
So I have had my mind elsewhere again lately, and I apologise for the lack of participation.
I hope this finds you well, and your world is glorious xxx
