Day 165 of 365

Week 22, Assignment 1 for Take A Class With Dave and Dave.

(Tis best viewed LARGE)

Eyes - It is said that the eyes are the window to the soul. I'm not really sure what that means, but it's cool, right? For this assignment, let's focus on the eyes. Just to be clear -- the photo must include at least one animal eye (yes, humans are animals). No needles. No hurricanes.

I had totally forgotten that eyes were one of the assignments for Take A Class With Dave and Dave when I did yesterday's shot. I don't take many eye shots as a rule so two in a row is quite rare. Yesterday's shot was all about the flash gel and experimentation and I'm not even considering it as a submission.

Tonight's shot is most likely my submission for week 22, assignment 1. I'm a pirate at heart (or at least the newly romanticized version of them) and as it says in the assignment, the eyes are the window to the soul.

I always like seeing my stuff on explore, but even better is all the comments from everyone. They mean a lot more than the "flickr-ithm" that somehow figures out which pictures should make it.

But I am that orange! LOL, I actually didn't mess with the color of the image at all. A little cloning to get rid of my pupil, but no levels or saturation at all.
