Day 131 of 365 (Year Two)

I had finally had enough of the drip drip drip drip drip drip of our old faucet. We've had the damn thing fixed about five times I think and after having it fixed it would last for a few months and then start the dripping all over again. We finally figured it was cheaper just to buy a new (and better) one instead of paying somebody to fix it. It was covered under our home warranty, but even with the deductible as the only payment, it was cheaper to buy the new one rather than fix the old one. We actually found a great deal on this one.

Now we can sit in peace in the living room and not hear the constant dripping behind us. The one problem we are still having is that the cold water connection under the sink is now dripping. it isn't dripping a lot, but enough that I'm now going to have to fix that as well, which means cutting the pipe back and putting a new fitting on the end. I'm not looking forward to that. I was hoping the plumber's putty would work, but alas, no such luck. Looks like I have me another home improvement project to work on this week.
