A Little Fun After The "Shoot"

    Newer Older

I asked my neighbor Ed to come over so I could take some shots. He laughed at me and shook his head as he is known to do when he thinks I am crazy, but being the fantastic neighbor he is he agreed. I'm glad he did because he was pivotal to the concept I was working on for my Class With Dave & Dave shot.

I really love the fact that I am finally living in a neighborhood where I have "real" neighbors. Neighbors who will help you out even when they think you are crazy and who will check in with you if they don't see you for a few days.

After getting my shots for the assignment, I asked Savanah to pose for a few shots with him. As you can tell, the two of them had a fun time while I snapped off some shots.

EDIT: As a thank you for taking the time to do this for me, we gave ED a copy of the PEACE photo as well as a these four shots in one of those chambered frames. It now sits in his living room.

That he does, but then it just matches his personality. He is definitely a character.

I actually lived in an apartment building where one of our neighbors passed away and nobody knew it until it became hard not to notice. Pretty damn sad.

That they do. Him and his wife are good people.

wow! he's such a charismatic man.....it'd be cool if I came out to where you live, since i don't know him...he's a stranger to me...i could shoot him for this weeks assignments ;-)

but alas...i'll probably just find one on the streets instead.

He'd probably give you the same look he gave me and then ask where you wanted him! LOL

I could so see that happening a round here. Except no one would ever notice, as we were in houses seperated by fences and yards etc..
