Palindrome![]() I love word and number games. While I was driving along the Rim of the World highway in the San Bernardino mountains, I noticed that the mileage on the odometer was a palindrome. (A palindrome is a word or number that reads the same forward and backward.)
The word palindrome first appeared in the English language sometime around 1620–30. It comes from the Greek word palíndromos, meaning recurring. It is derived from pálin meaning again, or back, plus -dromos, meaning running. ————————————————————————— Update: This image was used in an article on the Jaunted website: One Last Chance To Go Platinum, December 29, 2008. ————————————————————————— 20080806_2771a_800x600 CommentsCaveman 92223

Nicely captured. Glad to see the needle is pointing to 0 rather than 50.
