    Materials: white-on-white fabrics from stash; tons of tiny cotton scraps donated by my flickr friends; vintage sheet for backing; Dream Green batting
    Techniques: machine pieced; machine quilted; hand-bound

    The snow is so deep that I can't get to the fence for the traditional shot. And this is as flat as I could get it in the snow in the short time I cared to spend outside. :o)

      I love this scrappy quilt. I like to make fabric as well, and then cut it up to use in a quilt. It's not insane, I hope, but it is a good use of fabric! Once, I was making my daughter a costume for a play and made a drastic mistake on the vest, leaving not enough material. What to do? I didn't have time to go buy some more, so, I made some log cabin blocks of the same color and tone, and created a beautiful vest. I am going to dig it out of storage someday and post it as an example of what you can create in a PANIC!
