Fatima on Bed
Fatima, the tenderest of my cats, reposes on my bed in Mexico City, circa 2004. The slightly blurry quality of this shot reminds me that that apartment, bedstead, quilt, reading lamp -- as well as my life and activities in that place --- are all just a memory now. Fortunately, Fati is still with us.
