Summer Quaker Strawberry for Amy in SC

Well here is the Quaker Strawberry that I stitched for Amy for the Summer Quaker Exchange hosted by the Stitching Bloggers Exchange Board. I was really pleased when I finished this, it was my first attempt at this kind of finishing and when it was done, it looked pretty good to me.

I really like this. I think I could pull this off without a pattern or other information by using designs I have and the pattern for a strawberry pincushion. However, would you mind sharing how you did it? I think it looks charming.
