the eyes tiny seed beads or embroidery
stitches?

update on the lost buttons>>>>
they are now officially gone! my envelope
arrived to michelle...very flat. the top was
resealed after the postage and postal mark
were ripped off. all that was inside was the
postage-paid return envelope. now what kind
of rotten person would do such a thing?!
so sad...

That is so awful! Here's hoping someone put
them to good use instead of just thieving
them, since they are just so precious.

Okay, that is the saddest story ever. I've
since learned from my experience with the
post, that whenever I send anything and I
mean ANYTHING except for a bill, to seal all
the edges of the envelope--even if it's the
tiniest bit thick with MAILing tape. I've
gotten so many things here torn to
smithereens.
So sorry for all the buttons who went lost.

These are beautiful! I would like to make
some fabric buttons, but I have no idea how
to do it. We don't have a store here with
the supplies. Have you seen any tutorials?

i keep hoping that one day when i open my
mailbox, i will find a little package with a
lovely note from the sweet 98 year old lady,
a seamstress in her former life with a
tremendous appreciation for anything
handmade, who found them in the street on her
way home from her daily walk to the corner
market...yea, that might happen...i'm really
a hopeful sort of girl! :)

sarah-j, here is a great tutorial from craftpudding ...find some buttons with shanks, some
fabric + embroidery floss and you're there!
