Sitting amid untouched snow (how long has it
been there?), reading with no face, and a
head that looks like an ice cream cone.
Quite a picture :).

Great shot.

LOL. Actually, the exercise was to make it as
meaningless and abstract as possible. Within
a broad theme.
The broad theme was "social
rituals". I've started this set about
social rituals - waiting at bus stops, at the
coffee shop, grocery stores, government
offices - that sort of thing.
This piece was a bit of creative sorbet, if
you will. Using various props from the
various rituals, I set out to sort of cancel
out the meaningful aspects - she has books
but her eyes are too faded to read. She's on
a bench but there are no footprints in front
of her She's fully dressed for winter but has
summer shoes on her feet.
A completely post modern piece. It means
whatever you think it does. Sometimes you
just have to play with all the pretty crayons
:)

I imagine this image is much like tofu,
evoking different feelings each day based on
the viewer's current mood. I love it!

very similar... and just as wonderful.

I love this. I love the point on the hat, I
love the look of the snow. I love the mood it
evokes. I think it's a very strong image.
