definitely looks edible. but, then again, something may appear from these floating suspensions.

      ghosts in the spheres, perhaps?

      lovely work!

Okie. No one is allowed to laugh. Well, go ahead, laugh - but pretend you didn't :)

This is a piece of clear resin that I beat with an egg beater *just* before it set in its square mold.

Then I placed it inside a little 3 sided box I made from a piece of silver poster board - not really shiny silver, but more like that metal which is called "brushed".

Then I used indirect halogen light (to get the slight blue cast under the bubbles) and a rather long exposure with a low ISO and a wide open aperture.

I am guessing I was rigged up around 90mm or so for focal length - I was sort of going for a portrait scenario - with the bubbles in the background distorting rather rapidly from a shallow focal area. Experimental stuff. I have a whole pile of them, digital, color film and slide film (another from the same set on the blog today). I am thinking I will "do something" with them. What I will do is anyone's guess.

Wow, you really worked for this picture! But you got a very good result out of the work too! It's kind of surreal. My first guess was bubbles in water, though..
Congratulations on getting on Interestingness! :)
