Thank you to everyone for the nice comments and all the faves. I'll be visiting each of your streams to take a look at your photos.

Rainer - I appreciate you visiting. I can learn a lot from your nature macros.

Pachelbel Canon - And they say the cost will be reasonable.

Wendy - Thanks, partner! Are we ready for the next step...partners in crime?...haahha...painting an A380 with pansies!

Tini21 - Thanks for the explore news...don't know much about explore but will check it out.

Ms2400 - Wow, thanks! I've never had God mentioned in describing any of my shots. Cool and thanks for visiting!

Takuma and Harold..thanks for stopping by!

Snowy - thanks for the explore info...I'll go and learn about it.

Raul - It was monstrous but like my wife says about becoming immersed in taking shots...I kinda lost the impact of the whole scene and moment and "seeing" the monster...since I was focused on executing the shots.

Joits - Appreciate the nice comment!

Oybay - Thanks for the kind words.

Jonsearlesphotos - This A380 flew about 12.5 hours from Toulouse, France...Airbus headquarters.

Thanks for the info. I think the legendary status of this airplane is helping you enormously, not that it's a bad photo at all. :-) You've got 400 views as of now!!!! I also should note that I originally found this on Explore.

A Routemaster, maybe? Sorry that wasn't serious. :-) It's much prettier than a Routemaster, in my opinion.

Yup! Big it is.
I'm just thinking of all the people who would crowd the aisles of that huge plane with their oversized suitcases they absolutely have to carry onboard and take forever to stow...

Amazing picture! Had to look at it quite a few times. It still looks like the 380 landed on top of a roof with the nose wheel hanging over!

The American Boeing 797-200 may be even bigger that the Airbus A380
Here is a photo at the top, showing the Boeing 797 mammoth passenger jet. It's only a matter of time with American ingenuity.

Fantastic shot - looks so close to those people. Saw it today over Manchester UK - couldn't believe the number of people out there to take a look - we were a bit late and only just caught it, so no photos! Such is life. Faved.

Thanks j-dphotos -
We also had a huge crowd for its arrival...thousands lining the streets. I arrived very early and scouted the entire perimeter of the giant airport to find the best location and hope no one else was there. If I see a crowd, I try to go someplace else since I don't like taking pics that everyone else is getting. Anyhow, after arriving early, I shot several practice photos on other arriving aircraft before I had all the technical skills mastered. I then crossed my fingers as she arrived. I did the same on her departure...but from a different location.
