The Lonely Highway

    Highway 50 in Nevada is called "The Loneliest Road in America". I gotta say, I've seen lonelier (I mean, not in this shot, I suppose).

      I don't know if that's the road that leads out of vegas but if it is, I can see someone who just lost it all feeling really lonely. Great Shot!

      I'd say the highway that goes through the Brooks Range in Alaska is probably the loneliest. :P But maybe they think Alaska doesn't count. Heh.

      Leif: That one was pretty lonely, but there was a lot of oil company traffic on it. For my experiences, I may have to vote for the highway in Texas that runs from Van Horn to the Salt Flats near Guadalupe NP.

      Ah, yeah. That is lonely. As a Texan by birth, I miss it out there. My parents were going to move out to Marfa some years back but figured it was too desolate.
