A neon artwork running the length of the skylight entitled "Arc-en-ciel", French for rainbow, by artist Michael Hayden, used to be installed along each rib. The neon arcs were removed when the computer running the light shows became expensive to fix. (See MisterShooter's comment below for the full story.) The arrival and departure of trains used to cue the neon bulbs to flash on and off in patterns, and it looked great, particularly at night of course.
