absolutely! everything was purchased as one of the local art supply stores; none of it is difficult to find. i go back and forth between michaels and hobby lobby mostly, trying to utilize a coupon each time. ;^)

i bought the little watercolor box on sale at one of those stores, but i replaced a few of the pans with nicer paints from dick blick (dickblick.com). i also buy my aquabee super deluxe sketchbooks from them (inexpensive and great for both drawing and watercolor — although i heard they’ve recently switched to a less-great paper). the moleskine i bought from chronicle books online when they had a sale, but they are available at local bookstores, at amazon, and at dick blick.

i forgot to photograph a single pencil i also throw in my bag — it’s a prang 4B.
