It was time to leave Crater Lake and it's swarms of mosquitos. I couldn't help but stop to take pictures several times on the way down.
The road down from Crater Lake was beautiful in the morning light, with forest framed by whisps of fog.
Suzanne and I braved the early morning hours and the massive hordes of mosquitos to snap a few shots on the rim of Crater Lake. It was well worth it.

The Point Bonita lighthouse, framed by the glare of the sun. I have yet to actually see it up close--it is closed every time I am in the area.
