I was there for about 15 minutes,
sambiebaby. I have to take quite a few before
I get a composition I like - it can be pretty
hit and miss.

Oh my gosh! This is spectacular. You should
head down to Brighton to play with the
starlings as they come on at sunset to roost
on the Pier! These birds love you! (or is it
the french fries?)

That's a thought, Charlie. I do have a
montage (slowly) in the making that's a
variation on this, but I've probably already got the shots for
a heavily bird oriented view of Westminster.
Hmm...
Jerry, autofocus. 51-point 3D tracking, to
be precise. It works pretty well considering
what I'm asking it to do, but I've lost a lot
of potentially nice pictures by locking on to
the background. If there's a way to stop the
AF going beyond 3ft, I'd love to know about
it.
