Ken and Nadia: A Swinging Scene
I had the pleasure of photographing a fun, casual wedding on Ocean Beach, Fire Island, this weekend, a community that can best be described as "Norman Rockwell on vacation." Ken and Nadia are the sort of people that radiate goodness, and it was a pleasure to be around them for the big day.
The ceremony took place right next to a playground, so how could I resist taking them to play on the swings?

I would have thought you'd get darker shadows given the position of the sun. After borrowing this lens last year I've had my eye on it, but its kind of expensive. If you had to pick between the Sigma 10-20mm and this which one would you choose?
Thanks,

Tom: I had her kick up sand for the last few, and she kicked it right into me.

Your images have an almost portrait film quality to them (Kodak Porta, Fuji NPH (i think it was called), etc.). Is that 'cause of the S5?
Also, where's that review you once wrote on it? I lost the link...
Thanks!

The lens you chose makes the viewer of the photo feel like they are a speck of dust floating past. Your POV is terrific. I empathise fully with the number of attempts it would have taken and the resulting sand in your face! If I'd managed to produce a frame like this, I'd be proud of myself.
