Take Your Pick.

I wonder what this says......
It's an American flag pin, joined by a Big Apple pin.
these guys scare me.
Take Your Pick. by Ryan Brenizer.
John McCain and Barack Obama talk to the Rev. Cardinal Egan at the Al Smith Dinner.

I don't think this has been mentioned anywhere else on the Internet, but today is Election Day. If you're American, you should vote. Maybe it's an irrational act, but those are always the best ones.

More of my shots from the dinner are here.

I always vote in my country.
Two old guys and a younger one. Who will bring new wind into the American politics? That isn't a really difficult question.

This is a great photo. It really speaks volumes. McCain, speaking with the cardinal. The cardinal's face. Cindy McCain. And Obama, listening intently.

I know it's a cliché to say a picture is worth a thousand words, but this one is worth a lot more than that. Really awesome stuff.

The good cardinal is probably thinking, "Lord, you know I lean toward old white guys. But Lord, oh Lord why this This gigolo?"

In the spirit of bipartisan fairness I will add that I wouldn't mind having a beer with this male chauvinist candidate. If I had a beer with the last doofus I would have to fight the temptation to dump the foul Coors on him and then lose a footrace with the Secret Service. When I was 18 I would have gotten away! But then again when I was 18 I would have drank the beer tossed the glass and run into the doorjamb.

In the end, ... I guess nobody's perfect! ~; = ]]>
