Earthquake - Lincoln - UK

Earthquake - Lincoln - UK by Caro Wallis.
My housemates watch the news after a 5.3 richter scale earthquake shakes our house in Lincoln. We're 15 miles from the epicentre according to Sky News; the US Geological Society puts us a bit closer than that. Incidentally, the mess on the floor was caused by us and not the 'quake!

I was on the toilet when it happened* haha. At first I thought a big plane was landing at the RAF base next to where I live, until the slates on the roof started rattling.

*the tremors had nothing to do with what I was doing :¬)

The United States Geological Survey monitors earthquakes in The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland? I did not know that. Cool photo. I have heard of Sky One but not Sky News. I am glad that everything is okay because you were only 24 kilometers from the epicenter.
