"It's not the physical pain that stops me, neither the chains on my neck that tortures me, but the mental agony; the
cruelty of the wicked, and the indifference of the just"
Col. Luis Mendieta – Kidnapped by FARC 9 years ago

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CIRCULATE THIS IMAGE TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND
CONTACTS WORLDWIDE.

This march took place in Bogota -and simultaneously in 165 cities around the world- on February 4, 2008.
Specifically against the terrorist group “FARC” (Colombia's so-called revolutionary armed forces.)
They are a self proclaimed people's army, who finance their illegal and violent operations through extortion,
kidnapping, and drug trafficking, currently they have over 750 people in captivity, many of them over 5 year periods
in sub human conditions.
More than 5 million people marched on the streets of Colombia's cities alone. That is over 12 % of the country's 40
million people.
CNN reported thousands…let us be clear on the difference between thousands and millions.
Recently, the group has been seeking the international status of “belligerent”, rather than the violent terrorists who
really are; and definitely not the people’s army.
COLOMBIA DOES NOT WANT THEM!
Many of us -participants in this protest- feel that world media has not really done justice to the scale of the event
and that has lessened its potential impact on world opinion.
Please help us by sending this message to all your contacts worldwide
