What works, works. (Unless it's not to your
personal taste; there's no pleasing anyone.)
I think the lights have an ethereal, dreamy
effect... how appropriate! (Do I get a free
cruise for sucking up? No? Oh well, I still
like them.)
And hey, the pink on Splendor definitely
takes a chance! Few people are prepared for
that blast of candy colours when you
embark... and yet, it's interesting how many
passengers come around to it. Still, a risky
move to offer something traditionally
aversive (at least to some menfolk) as a
first impression.
