      While I'm familiar with Mr. Hines work, I really enjoyed hearing about one of his photos in a local context. Nice blogging, Carl.

      Thanks - I've got a couple of his shots from Schenectady, too, that I'll post once I've done some more digging. I had to best of intentions of seeing if I could learn anything more about these boys, but when a first run through Ancestry didn't get me anywhere, I got on to more important work. Trying to do much more local history on my blog as I've got a real backlog of things to talk about.
