Birds of Different Feathers

This is planned as a temporary post. I bought and received Thursday an extension lens that doubles my 75-300mm zoom lens. Expermentation has not been satisfactory until this evening - put camera setting on program mode, waited for a little sunshine, and managed a few shots before light started fading out. Auto focus does not work with the extension but that is not too bad a drawback. Up until this last "run", I either had excessive noise or darkness. LOL This last run worked much, much better! Now to get the focus a little sharper. Some cropping is included.

Pre Storm Sunrise

Same storm system that produced deadly tornadoes west of us. Thankfully we got rain (which we need), moderate winds, and a single clap of thunder where I was.
