Parked Oman Air A310 @ YYZ

A parked Oman Air A310 at YYZ. Soon to be returned to the lessor I guess. Highly cropped with jet exhaust give the picture some flavour. Anyone know the registration number of this plane? It might be ex-TAP so Portuguese.

It doesn't look like it has a registration. Anyhow, Oman air doesn't seem to have A310's. Does only seems like a new A310 for Air Transat perhaps. Or not. I'm only guessing here though.

Apparently they leased these A310s two years ago from TAP pending delivery of their A330s. I guess the lease it up. They must be taking the aircraft type out of their fleet.

A few oddities and some carriers I hadn't photographed there before. An Austrian 767 with winglets was there along with a Jet Airways A330 but I didn't get to photograph either as I was trying to manage that high speed people mover at the same time.. yikes that's scary!..

Ah so they are taking delivery of their A330s so this makes sense. I think Air Transat is also taking in a new Airbus if I'm not mistaken but I think an A330 not another A310.. I thought this one might eventually go to them.. For the high speed thingy...yeah it was a bit creepy when you came to the end. Luckily there weren't a lot of people on it with me because when it started to compress I found myself backing up to try and not rear end the people in front of me.. had it been crowded it would have resulted in a bit of a panic I think.

Oman Air leased a pair of ex-TAP A310s from HiFly. The other HiFly A310 is CS-TEI and from the pictures I could find, that one seemed to have been repainted into the Oman Air livery which has a blue tail.
