	Djof says: Oh sweet. I've been considering to get into archery this summer. History is one of my favorite topics, and an era I particularly like is the [second] Hundred Years War, in which the English longbow played a major role. The bows pictured are a bit too technological for me however, I prefer more classical models. Where was this taken? Thanks for always bringing up these interesting topics. Nice depth of field too. This is Parc Champêtre in east end Montreal just south of Rosemont and east of Lacordaire in the little neighbourhood in the region. It was originally the 1976 Olympic Archery site or training site, not sure which. Obviously it's still popular today because most of the spots were taken and in use when I dropped by. As I'm walking around I'm discovering east end Montreal offers far more than I ever thought it did when I was a kid... If I listen to some people I'm supposed to living in poverty... ...but what's next here, Polo? LOL... Thanks for the "Archer"... I wasn't sure what the correct terminology was. Posted 26 months ago.
