    Michael's new iPhone 3G-S was a fine companion to us both -- especially in heavily navigation-dependent Los Angeles.

      Always good to have one of those. I just lose my way through LA...I discover a lot more that way.

      True, but when you've got a wedding to be at at a certain time you're less interested in "discovering" and more interested in not getting lost. I absolutely agree that wandering and "not knowing" is being devalued by ever-present info...I'm sure there are brilliant blog posts on this subject...

      Can I help!? I'd hate for you to perish by iPhone lust; on the upside you'd probably make the New York Times' obituaries. :)
