just a short note to say 'Thank You' for
providing your photo with a Creative Commons
license; I have used it in my blog for an
entry entitled 'Lend a hand: Peer to peer banking?'.
I will be using your picture on a page I am
creating for work, and I was wondering how
you prefer to be credited, as CarbonNYC or
David Goehring? I'll send a link to the page
once it has gone "live".
Either is really fine. Whichever is more
stylistically consistent with the page is
what I'd argue for. (Glad you can make use of
it -- and thanks, in advance, for the link!)
You're welcome; I had no idea about their
rarity -- this was a very impromptu shot, but
obviously very "stock photo-y," and
therefore very useful for many purposes...
Hi David. Yes, it's tough to find a photo
showing someone writing a check. Maybe
that's because we've truly entered the
Neuromancer age, and paper money (even in
check form) is becoming obsolete.
But I digress... I used your photo on my
blog, BankruptcySurvivor.com. The full
address is: bankruptcysurvivor.com/blog/?p=15 You're credited at the bottom.
I am a webmaster for a French news website
called Rue89 (http://www.rue89.com). I'm
about to use this picture (with link and
credit) to illustrate a story on my site,
observing the Creative Commons conditions
mentioned in this page.

Thanks again for making this Creative Commons. It isn't easy finding a decent cheque image that isn't copyright.

Who knew an image of such a mundane act would be so useful. I'm going to use it on mint.com/blog. Thanks for putting it on Creative Commons.
