1/4 of Yosemite Valley

Yosemite Valley, Calif. USA. This is from Glacier Point. I think it 3 to 4000 FT almost straight down at this spot. Rail needed here to better grasp the scale. Rangers were doing "controlled" burns thru the whole park causing the "fog" in this foto. Cheap camera, no filters. bummer. Camera is catching all light reflecting off smoke, grrr! Never go in dry season. It didn't look that smokey in person, my memory of it is clear :) By the way folks, can you see the 3 Picaso like FACES in the cliff on upper left? Picaso faces best seen smaller. I noted the obvious face for starters. This is about 10 days before 9/11/01.
