A coworker is having a baby girl this summer so I started knitting her a blanket. Not one for your stereotypical boy/girl colours, I went with a lovely green that could work for either sex... great for her in case they have a boy next time around.

I decided to treat myself to a nice mug for my daily cup of herbal tea. For Christmas, I had given Mommikins a Romero Britto mug. Ever since, I wanted one of them for myself. This one caught my eye instantly and I knew I must have it. No more plain, generic coffee mugs that someone can steal for me anymore! I'm fancy.

Trying my hand at portraits. A few of my coworkers graciously put on a smiley face while I clicked away. I really should have paid more attention and asked her to move away from the chair and the wet floor sign.

I'm really going to miss Picnik...Its amazing what you can do to a photo.
