matt's bedroom7I had another poster I was going to hang here, but I thought there were already a lot of posters for a guy in his mid twenties. So, I hung up his most often worn hats over his dresser. Convenient, and decorative.

matt's bedroom6We had such a hard time trying to paint these built-ins (everything in this room used to be a dark taupe, including the carpet!), so we covered the whole room, taped around the trim, and created a vent out the window... then my dad came in and spray painted the whole thing with his spray gun. Very convenient! And the finish is super smooth now.

matt's bedroom4This morning I spent some time styling my brother's blank bedroom. That's an antique checkerboard on the wall, which I've had laying around for a while, with nowhere to put it. I think it fits in well in his bedroom!

matt's bedroom3This morning I spent some time styling my brother's blank bedroom. We painted it last year and never got around to doing much else. The room is pretty tiny, so the low ikea bed really helps create the feeling of a more spacious room.
