Very good composition and execution of exposure. Just an idea but in the future you may want to have a dark card handy to allow you to get several fireworks bursts on one exposure.... or shop lol

Exceptional photograph, Candace. Amazing night scene of the city, and the fireworks are just the cherry on top!
It may already be too late, but you should take down all but maybe a 800px wide version of the shot from Flickr. In about one minute, I was able to find the photo - after seeing it in the Telegram - and could have downloaded your full-res image (and I'm not even on your friends list). Don't worry... I'm not about to use it, but there are many image thieves out there who would have a field day and make a lot of money off your accomplishment here. Be very careful with your hi-res images, and guard them with your life :)
