Remember the Charlie Brown Christmas tree being the most pathetic on the lot? Wellll, from today's tulip shoot, this was the Charlie Brown because of being over exposed. Between star alignment, hormone levels, and my fickle mood swings, all combined into my wanting to process the CB shot just for the heck of it ;-).

Taken next to the railroad tracks in the middle of no where near the southeast border of Oregon. From last year's vacation.

There were POPPIES! Or in this case, along the dusty dirt road on a gray day in south east Oregon, there were poppies, lipstick red POPPIES! I didn't ramp up the color one bit. Just darkend the darks a smidge in levels, smart sharpened, very slight dark vignette.......and wa-la, a photo nearly straight from camera ;-)

From this shoot I have a zillion shots of him pointing to airplanes flying overhead. My mother (with Alzheimer's) and he had a great time pointing to each plane; both were fascinated. The photos of them together are darling, but Mom doesn't look her best, so i won't post 'em--sigh.
