No, but I'll check it out. I really need to learn how to knit. (Not that I have time to even complete my crochet projects...)

oh, Ravelry is also for crochet!
It helps you organize your yarn, projects, find new projects, they even have yardages (to see if the yarn you have might cover your new project) community forums, helps you also organize the books you have, the needles...it's very cool!

This sounds dangerous. I already have 9 skiens of recycled silk yarn I don't know what I'm going to do with and try not to purchase more yarn without already having a project in mind. (Been to "The Knit With" in Chestnut Hill?)

On a side note, I totally need a flexible afghan hook, if you happen to come across one, please grab it for me!

i know, some of my yarn is going to be recycled (starting with this thing i made, with the blue and fluffy yarn. It has no structure whatsoever...really bugged me (and my contacts) so it has to be remade into something else.

Re Knit Wit, nope haven't been...but seeing it was one of the things that sold Chestnut Hill as a future possibility. That and SEPTA stations abound. Over here I had Rosie's Yarn cellar 1 block away (miss it!) and apparently, as soon as I moved out, another place for boht fabric AND yarn opened one two or three blocks away...I sooo need to go there too!

Will keep the flexible afghan hook in mind...
