The University seemed closed and secret while I was studying for A-levels in Cambridge. Becoming a member does not change that however, there are new secrets once you get into a college. Although I'm now I'm studying for a Phd this part of the University is just as closed and exclusive.
I'm amazed that they let you publish photos. Thanks ever so much for sharing them. "The first rule of the Combination Room is....."

An excellent composition, I can almost hear the hushed whispers, the gentle rustle of the newspaper and the delicate chink of fine porcelain. A rare view into this inner sanctum. Grand job.
