Extraordinary composition. By not cropping this, the eye is left to look out and not down. I think you're likely to spend more time in thought with the original photo.

I'm inclined to agree with you, you took the image and framed it and it's Cool.
I'm the sort of person who crops an image because I can, but there have been a few images, including this one, that would look odd if you cropped off the "dead space", it does in fact add to the image and enhances it :)

Love it! Graceful and ephemeral in its cold beauty.
What adds depth and delicacy for me is the soft suggestion of the shadow on the right, so subtle you almost miss it. Except that without it, the image would be flat.

I stop here because this one 'knocked my socks off' ! Extraordinary & intriguing & totally captivating! Beautiful minimalism bathed in mystery, for the slight rainbow arc of shadow in the negative space gives the cold stone (?) a magical aura! Wow!
