Yeah, the sun off the snow was ridiculously
bright at times. Looking through the camera
was the only way I did it, looking directly
into the sun was a better choice than looking
down at the snow, lol.

Beautiful!! I think it's fairly rare to be
able to get very close to these birds! I
just found out last week that the Steller's
Jay is the provincial bird of British
Columbia!

Great shot of this Jay, Camden. We usually
have them here, but so far this year's
there's none. Suits Linda fine, she chases
them away so the little birds can get some
seed. They're so worried about her, they
sit on the feeder and scream at the house
until she comes roaring out. I think they're
all nuts. Thanks for the good wishes, too,
I'm recovering really well.
