Dedicado: à Solidão.
Porque será que sempre associamos Solidão com algo ruim? É apenas mais
uma coisa, como todas as outras, que em excesso faz mal, muito mal.
Precisamos de muitas pessoas em nossas vidas, pessoas a quem confiar,
a quem amar. As vezes porém precisamos ficar sós, pois é buscando
dentro de nós mesmos a "sala vazia" da Solidão que podemos
através da brecha de uma janela refletir melhor sobre o brilho intenso
da vida que corre lá fora... e então nos sentiremos privilegiados por
tudo o que temos.

Why we always think in "Solitude" as a bad thing? It is just
a thing as anything else, which only in excess can then be bad, very
bad! We need a lot of people in our lives, people to trust, people to
love. Sometimes though we need to be alone, 'cause it is seeking
inside ourselves the "empty room" of Solitude that we can,
through a breach in the window, truly realize about the intense life's
bright found outside... and then we'll feel privileged for everything
that we have.

nice idea, good contrast. :) but i'd change the composition - more space for reflections of the window at the bottom, no black tile in the corner, a bit less space on the right and probably also on the left (but enough to keep the corner of the room in the image).

Very interesting conceptual shot. It does convey a strong mood. In terms of composition I think it could better if showing less of the ceiling and a bit more space down in front of the window reflection. On a side note: you could really drop the remarks about the meaning of the photo and leave its interpretation to each viewer on its own. An image that speaks for itself is always more interesting.
