Vintage green scales, by Hanson

These go up to 40 pounds and have a great sticker of a bird on the sides. Perhaps commercial rather than kitchen scales?

    Might be commercial. Kitchen scales usually stopped at about 10 or 20 pounds. Spring type scales are usually marked, "Not legal for trade," but this may predate that requirement.
