letters

I bought this packet of letters at an auction; it contains about a dozen letters sent from one young man to another in the 1860s.

Must be interesting to read these. I have a boxfull of old postcards from the early part of the last century, sent by artists who travelled Europe at the time, and it's interesting to read these and of course look at the pictures.
