chickadee with safflower seed

    I have five different bird feeders set up, each offering a different treat. This used to hold just sunflower seeds until I read that cardinals liked safflower seeds. So I added them. It appears that chickadees like that kind of seed as well. I sat outside taking pictures and snapped many of these birds with seeds in their beaks. Each time, it was a safflower seed. Live and learn.
