Can you see it?

Every time that I'm in a museum, I'm always wondering what people see when they're in front of those pretty and famous paintings? Do they really feel them? Or are they just remembering what the books say? I keep looking but not at the paintings, the people, what they do, what they say, how they act... and just one question remains, can you really see it, and feel it?
