SO AN UPDATE BEFORE I SKIP OFF TO HOMEWORK LAND. ; ;

Life is pretty freaking good. c: I've been rather happy lately. I have some new friends to add to my old, pretty nice grades, a new 'family', some great memories, and whatnot. c:
My new family is a mix of friends. : D I even have siblings. My big brother and little sister. <3 My big bro gives great advice. D: < He's a bunch of wisdom and I never even knew until recently when he made me snap out of it and get over myself, and some other things. Because he's so honest and will tell you how it is.

And then there's my new friend, David. I've known him for awhile, but we've been talking a lot more because we're in the same bio-med class, in the same group again. It's basically the same as the first group we were in, only with an extra person. There's the girl who was with us first time, who we have dubbed, "The Inferior Test Subject" for a variety of reasons. c: We're such mean people. But he's so funny. xD Such a pervert too. Gosh.

Today we were loading stuff with DNA samples, and my hands were really unsteady and I was having some difficulty. It was his turn after mine, and after his first attempt, he turned around, looking humbled, and said, "Katie, I'm sorry I ever doubted you." I died a little inside.

And then there was the recording thing. I was watching a video I had recorded with my iPod, and he looked over at me. He said, "I know something you should record with that." And I asked him what. He looked at me for a second. Then he said, "Nevermind." With this grin on his face. And he refused to tell me, no matter how much I asked. Like, "I really think you should tell me what I should record with this." And he'd say, "I really think I shouldn't." I kept pestering him and told him I would keep doing so, and he looked me straight on and told me it honestly didn't bother him if I kept bothering him. So I eventually asked why he wouldn't tell me. His clever response? "It's really disturbing and inappropriate." I told him I wasn't easily disturbed. So he started to try to disturb me. One of his things was cutting your nails down so far they bled. I told him I'd lick the blood off. c: I'm an odd one like that.

I question who I associate with. <3

Meet my beta fish. D: < Adrian. I got him today. <3 From school. Ain't he nifty?
He's sort of.. a replacement for my lizard. *sigh* My cats finally got to him. Someone didn't quite close his cage, he got out, he nearly got eaten, but escaped and hid. He was so traumatized, however, he died in the night. That was in January. He's in the freezer, waiting for proper burial in spring. But that's old news. It's still sad, but if I get another lizard, it won't end up like Jesse James.
So now I have Adrian, named for my overly agressive and arrogant character. D: I love him so. <3

I think I'm getting sick. I just hope I don't end up like Ash, projectile vomiting and whatnot. D: *sniffle*

And so I have a new obsession, some of the lyrics used in Jason Derulo's song, Whatcha Say. It's called Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap. I love it so much...

So, today was redonkulus (you heard me. D: <). Nearly got in to a fist fight with some annonymous face in the crowd and her friend. Had it coming. She messed with my friends, and I am extremely loyal to them and will back them up. She had a guy holding her back and Ashley was holding me back as we were screaming at each other. We were ready to tear each others throats out, methinks. I was absolutely shaking with anger after, but at the same time, I was laughing so hard, because it seriously made my day.
Now, I look back and know how stupid the whole thing was, but it's still the highlight of my day. <3

So I was in town this weekend. :D I had to take pictures for a project, and I took a few extras along the way. This is my favorite picture of all of them. A lovely old house, and I had to take a picture ot it.
I love all the Victorian houses around here~

Been busy, the usual junk. I'm not going to chatter on about excuses for not getting on, I've just been busy.

And I've discovered something rather relaxing. Jazz. D: I have a minor obsession with it right now. And not a lot of modern stuff, more like Harlem Renaissance, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong type music. It's very nice~

I'm like... So happy right now~ Such a justice that has occured today makes things a little nicer. Let's just say a man whore who deserves a kick in the nuts has gotten it emotionally through a wonderful break up. I laugh. :D I can't wait to see him tomorrow, to see if he's as upset as he claims to be. I do hope he is. 'Nough said. :D~

Mmm~ I'm so comfy too. Eveloped in the scent of my best friend because I borrowed her jacket. It's a jacket from the men's section, so it's really baggy, but warm.

And as a happy update as well, my grandparents are coming up from Pennsylvannia tomorrow. I get to see them Tuesday. It's been a year probably since I've last seen them. I miss my grandpa making fun of me and my grandma's chatter in her heavy German accent. D:
