      your mistake. you shoudn't have uploaded full resolution pictures. 640*480 is big enough for viewing online.

    7. Cajie (63 months ago | reply)

      @3azeez,
      I agree, but I actually want people to download and use my photos for non-commercial purpose, which is why I have tagged them under the creative commons licence. Posting a small 640x480 would defeat the purpose of CC licence, as would plastering them with a ugly watermark.
      Publications like newspapers, magazines, etc. are EXPECTED to know the basic concept of copyright and intellectual property. If they decide to steal it, all I can do is highlight it to the people concerned. It's not exactly as though I am jumping up and down with fury over this :)

      @3azeez the size of the pictures doesn't matter for them, dont care about the print quality, what they care about how to steal a good pictures, which complete their new papers.

      1- Taking your photo and using it is evidence of your photo's success. Be happy for that.

      2- I think you shouldn't ignore your rights. Papers are increasingly using works of other without their permission because no one is doing anything about that.

      Ms. RaMaRoo...No he shouldn't be happy for stealing his photos, he should drag them to court, they did it to many others before and they will keep doing it.
