KPC Shuwaikh Headquarters

NO Grilling Allowed Here!
KPC Shuwaikh Headquarters by Cajie.
This is the new KPC building near the Shuwaikh Port. The sun was just setting when I took this HDR set. Nikon D70, 3 exposures bracketed by 2 stops, and triggered using the remote control.
Thank you utopia_q4 for correcting the title.

very nice shot, nice use of colours, contrast and everything. The most i like in this pic is the sky, but it seem you more concentrate on the green grass or you just wanna balance those 2. If me then i will get more space for the sky because of the cloud in this pic so amazing. For this shot, i would do abit crop to remove the bottom, it just my personal like if you wanna keep it this way, just let it be :)... Thanks for sharing...

Unusual colours, quite interesting on the eye. Might make a very nice nightshot too. You got a tripod? :¬)

Thanks for the suggestion naughton321. The building is very nicely lit during the night - so I will try a nightshoot. Yes I do have a tripod, though not a very good one.

Score 9/10 (from the Score Me!

I used photomatix to generate the output. I did not know there is an intermediate .hdr file.

I'm still not sure about the special quality of hdr. A sort of non photographic quality. I'll probably get used to it in time.
Nicely composed shot.

Hi algo,
thank you for your comment. Of course, HDR can be viewed from 2 perspectives. One is to use it to create unnatural effects, and the other is to simply added extra dynamic range to the photo.

Looking at some of the HDR photos that are available on flickr, one tends to associate HDR with unnatural looks.

My idea of HDR is simply to expand the dynamic range in the shot, just as a human eye would see it; and which is not technically possible with a single exposure.
